Solar Orbiter is a brilliant American IPA that bridges old-school character with modern biotransformation techniques. This West Coast expression pours clear with a vibrant hop profile. The use of Chinook and Amarillo during fermentation unlocks unexpected exotic fruit notes alongside traditional resin and floral accents. A post-fermentation addition of Citra creates a sensory explosion of ripe mango and zesty citrus. Supported by a crisp, grainy malt backbone, the experience concludes with a firm, assertive bitterness and a refreshingly dry finish. It is a masterful display of hop complexity, balancing classic piney depth with bright, contemporary tropicality.

Appearance. Medium gold (approx. 7 SRM); brilliant clarity; medium-sized, white head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent mango and citrus from Citra, layered with floral Amarillo notes and a resinous, spicy undertone from Chinook. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt provides a subtle foundation. Fermentation is clean with negligible esters.

Taste. Assertive hop-forward profile with initial flavors of tropical fruit and citrus. The mid-palate reveals a more traditional resinous pine character. Medium-high bitterness is clean and sharp, balanced by a low, neutral malt presence. The finish is decidedly dry and crisp, leaving a lingering hoppy and bitter aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, enhancing the crispness. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but subtle.
