This West Coast Lager collaboration merges traditional Czech technique with modern hop expression. Built on a base of floor-malted Pilsner malt using a single decoction, the beer presents a lean, cracker-like foundation. Traditional Saaz hops provide a noble, spicy backbone in the boil, while a generous dry-hopping of Motueka transforms the profile with vibrant bursts of fresh lime and citrus. The result is a brilliantly clear German Pils that drinks like a mojito, balancing its firm, noble bitterness with a crisp, bone-dry finish. It is an exceptionally refreshing, aromatic hybrid that retains its classic lager soul.

Appearance. Straw to pale yellow (2-3 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Pours with a dense, creamy white head featuring excellent persistence and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of fresh lime zest and crushed mint from Motueka hops are layered over spicy and herbal Saaz notes. The malt provides a clean, grainy, and slightly doughy backdrop from the floor-malted Pilsner malt. Clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Crisp and refreshingly lean initial impression. Grainy-sweet malt flavors are quickly overtaken by assertive hop character. Bright lime and citrus flavors lead, followed by a lingering herbal spice. Medium-high bitterness is well-integrated, leading to a bone-dry, clean, and snappy finish with a touch of lingering citrus peel.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, effervescent mouthfeel. High carbonation. Very smooth with no alcohol warmth and a clean, refreshing finish.
