This Wild Specialty Beer offers a sophisticated sensory journey, opening with a vibrant, jammy explosion of Raspberry and the sharp, tangy edge of Lingonberry. The juicy fruit profile is uniquely elevated by a cooling sensation from dried Mint, which provides a herbal freshness that dances across the palate. A subtle layer of Chocolate, added during the cold stage, creates a masterful contrast, grounding the bright fruit acids with earthy cocoa depth. Despite its refreshing 4.2% ABV, the boosted gravity provides a smooth, sorbet-like texture that carries the tart berry notes and minty breeze through a crisp, acidic finish.

Appearance. Deep ruby-pink to reddish-purple (SRM 15-20); frothy, light pink head with moderate retention; hazy to opaque due to heavy fruit additions and adjuncts.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant aromas of sun-ripened Raspberry and tart Lingonberry; a distinct menthol-like freshness from Mint provides a cooling lift; subtle earthy cocoa and dark Chocolate notes in the background; clean lactic acidity with no hop aroma.

Taste. Sharp initial tartness featuring intense Raspberry sweetness and tangy Lingonberry; the Mint offers a refreshing mid-palate breeze; the Chocolate provides a rounding, slightly savory cocoa contrast to the acidity; negligible hop bitterness; finish is dry, crisp, and lingering with tart fruit skins.

Třetí pokračování našeho malého projektu s Beer Station jsme důsledně naplánovali na příchod teplejších dnů. Growler Sour Ale vychází z naší série Sorbetů, ale přináší pár vylepšení. Ovocný základ tvoří hlavě halda malin s dávkou brusinek na umocnění šťavnatosti (a barvy). K tomu jsme o něco zhutnili základové pivo a přidali dvojici neovocných prvků. Sušená máta použitá ve vířivé kádi přidává špetku svěžesti, která kontrastuje s čokoládou přidanou ve studené fázi procesu. Tohle příjemně kyselé a osvěžující pivo by mohlo být to pravé, co si teplé jarní dny žádají.

On top of that, we bumped up the gravity of the original beer and added some non-fruit adjuncts. The dried mint used in the whirlpool gives it some fresh breeze that contrasts with the chocolate added on the cold side.
