Sibeeria Crossing Borders is a vibrant Hazy IPA infused with a generous addition of passion fruit, presented here as a Wild Specialty Beer. A collaboration with Freigeist, this pour captures the essence of summer with a deep, tropical focus. The aromatic profile is led by the exotic, resinous, and citrusy interplay of Ekuanot, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops, which harmonize seamlessly with the sharp, authentic tang of fresh passion fruit. A soft, creamy malt backbone supports a refreshing tartness that cuts through the juicy sweetness. This beer balances the lush texture of a New England IPA with the lively, acidic complexity of a wild fermentation, resulting in a refreshing, fruit-forward experience.
Appearance. Hazy to nearly opaque, straw to deep gold (4–6 SRM) with a slight orange hue from the fruit. Moderate white head with fair retention and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity featuring sharp, tangy passion fruit. A complex hop bouquet follows with notes of tropical melon and papaya from Ekuanot, berry and citrus from Mosaic, and orange peel from Amarillo. Low, bready malt and a clean, lactic tartness are present.
Taste. Initial impression is a bright burst of passion fruit acidity. Tropical fruit flavors of mango and pineapple from the hops dominate the mid-palate. Low bready malt sweetness is quickly overtaken by a pleasant tartness. Bitterness is low, allowing the fruit and hop esters to shine. The finish is dry, crisp, and refreshing with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a soft, smooth texture typical of the base style, though thinned slightly by fruit fermentation. Moderate to high carbonation. Very low alcohol warmth and no noticeable astringency.

Crossing Borders byla vůbec první mezinárodní kolaborace, kterou jsme ve vlastním pivovaru uvařili – společně s naším dobrým kamarádem Sebastianem z Freigeist jsme si střihli NEIPU s marakujou. Po dvou letech vaření chmelených a zakalených piv jsme se vrátili ke starému receptu a trochu ho doladili, aby byl tenhle lesní duch ještě ovocnější a jemnější než předtím. Exotické aroma chmelů Ekuanot, Mosaic a Amarillo vytváří dokonalý podklad pro štědrou dávku marakuji, která pivu dodává příjemnou nakyslost pro vyšší pitelnost. Tohle pivo stírá hranice mezi NEIPA a ovocným džusem a je přímo definicí letního osvěžení pro milovníky chmele, kteří se nebojí zkusit něco nového. Nebo pro milovníky džusů, kteří se nebojí chmele. Ani duchů.
Crossing Borders was the first international collab we brewed in our brewery – with our good friend Sebastian from Freigeist we did a NEIPA with passion fruit. Two years of brewing hoppy and hazy beers later, we revisited the old recipe and did a couple of tweaks, so this forest ghost is fruitier and smoother than ever before. Exotic aromas of Ekuanot, Mosaic and Amarillo create a perfect backdrop for a generous serving of passion fruit that adds a pleasant tartness for increased drinkability. Balancing somewhere between NEIPA and fruit juice, this is the very definition of a summer refreshment for hopheads that are not afraid of trying something new. Or juice-drinkers who are not afraid of hops. Or ghosts.
