This Hazy IPA lives up to its name with a remarkably soft, pillowy texture that defines the drinking experience. A heavy dry-hopping regimen featuring Mosaic, Citra, and Cashmere hops delivers an explosion of tropical and citrus notes. Expect vibrant layers of mango and blueberry from the Mosaic, bright grapefruit zest from the Citra, and a unique, silky melon and lemon-lime nuance from the Cashmere. The malt profile remains understated with a clean, bready foundation, allowing the juicy hop character to dominate entirely. Appearance. Deep straw to light gold with a distinct, opaque haze providing a soft shine. It is topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and significant lacing; no visible particulates are present.
Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by a lush bouquet of tropical and citrus fruits. Primary notes of mango, passion fruit, and blueberry are complemented by bright lemon-lime and a subtle herbal melon undertone. The malt is low and neutral, offering a light, grainy, bready sweetness in the background.
Taste. The flavor is intensely hop-forward and juicy, reflecting the aromatic profile with waves of ripe stone fruit, citrus, and tropical berries. The malt provides a soft, bready support that balances the medium-low perceived bitterness. The finish is smooth and off-dry, lacking any hop harshness or astringency, with a lingering fruit-skin aftertaste.
