Positive Grindset reimagines the American Stout through the lens of a classic Espresso Martini. The sensory profile is dominated by a bold, high-intensity espresso aroma that yields to layers of bittersweet chocolate and a hint of vanilla bean. Despite its sessionable ABV, it maintains the characteristic roasted depth of the style, balanced by a firm hop bitterness that provides a clean, resinous counterpoint to the underlying malt sweetness. The finish is notably crisp for a dark ale, lingering with a dark-roasted coffee bean character and a subtle creamy sweetness, making for a vibrant and modern interpretation of the style.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (40 SRM). Pours with a thick, persistent light tan head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity roasted character, specifically fresh espresso and dark chocolate. Subtle floral and citrusy hop notes are present but secondary to the coffee. A light, sweet vanilla aroma provides a smooth aromatic bridge.
