This Hazy IPA showcases a lush hop profile driven by Citra Cryo, Idaho 7 Cryo, and Vic Secret. It pours an opaque straw color with a luminous glow, releasing high-intensity aromas of succulent mango and fresh pineapple. A subtle thread of resinous pine provides depth against a backdrop of soft, bready malt. On the palate, the "fuzzy" mouthfeel complements the explosive tropical fruit flavors, while the bitterness remains restrained and velvety. The finish is off-dry and juice-forward, emphasizing the complex interplay of citrus and stone fruit esters without any harshness or lingering hop burn.
Appearance. Color is straw to light orange; opaque with a characteristic hazy shine. Pours with a thick, meringue-like white head showing high retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of ripe mango, crushed pineapple, and citrus. Subtle resinous pine and passionfruit are present. Low grainy-sweet malt character; neutral to lightly fruity esters.
Taste. High tropical hop flavors of pineapple and mango. Medium-low bitterness that is soft and supportive rather than sharp. Low bready malt flavor. Finish is off-dry, juicy, and clean with no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture. Moderate carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth; no astringency or hop burn.
