Practice What You Peach is a vibrant, fruit-forward Session IPA that bridges the gap between a refreshing pale ale and a tropical punch. Dominated by succulent aromas of ripe peach and exotic guava, this collaboration beer presents a clean, pale malt base that stays out of the way of its fruit-driven character. On the palate, the stone fruit and tropical notes lead into a crisp, moderate bitterness that defines its American IPA roots. This lightweight ale remains exceptionally drinkable with a dry finish and sparkling carbonation, making it an ideal companion for sessions where flavor intensity and refreshment are paramount.
Appearance. Color is medium gold (approx. 6 SRM). Features a medium-sized, white head with good persistence and light lacing. Clarity is clear, though a very slight haze is present due to the fruit additions.
Aroma. High intensity hop and fruit aroma. Prominent notes of succulent peach and tropical guava dominate, supported by a low, clean, grainy maltiness. The fermentation profile is clean with no significant yeast esters or phenols, allowing the adjunct fruit and New World hop character to shine.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of juicy peach and tropical guava flavor. This is supported by a low, grainy malt presence. Hop bitterness is medium-high and firm, balancing the fruit character. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, clean, hoppy and fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, light texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp, refreshing bite. No alcohol warmth is perceived due to the lower session strength, and there is no astringency.
