La Vida Coco is a decadent American Stout that transforms a robust roasted base into a liquid dessert. The heavy addition of 120kg of toasted coconut flakes drives a rich, tropical nuttiness that melds seamlessly with 20kg of cacao nibs, yielding intense layers of bittersweet chocolate and fudge. While the classic American Stout foundation provides a backbone of coffee and charred grain, the adjuncts soften the edges, creating a luxurious profile. Appearance. Opaque jet black (SRM 40). Pours with a large, persistent, tan to light-brown head with fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of toasted coconut and dark chocolate cacao nibs. Supported by strong roasted coffee and burnt grain notes. Hop aroma is very low, overshadowed by the rich dessert-like adjuncts. Light ester profile.
