ShinDigger IPL
ShinDigger IPL is a vibrant German Pils that functions as a sophisticated hybrid, marrying the crisp, clean fermentation of a traditional lager with the explosive, juicy hop character typical of a New England IPA. The sensory experience is defined by a brilliant straw-colored pour and an aroma brimming with tropical fruit notes that transcend the style's typical floral boundaries. On the palate, a foundation of grainy-sweet cracker malt supports a firm, refreshing bitterness. This medium-light-bodied beer finishes bone-dry with a lingering hop presence, offering the refreshment of a classic pilsner with the modern fruitiness of a contemporary IPA.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3 SRM), brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring pronounced tropical fruit and citrus juicy notes layered over traditional floral and spicy scents. Low grainy-sweet, toasted cracker malt character is present with a very clean, lager fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial doughy and cracker-like malt flavor is quickly overtaken by a high intensity of fruity hops. Medium-high bitterness provides a firm structure, balancing the hop-forward profile. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering minerally sharpness and clean aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel without being heavy or harsh. Very low alcohol warmth.
