This sophisticated English Barley Wine presents a masterclass in barrel integration, having matured for five months in Sherry brandy casks. A complex base of five distinct malts yields a deep amber-copper hue with shimmering ruby reflections. The sensory experience is dominated by intense aromas of figs, burnt sugar, and toasted oak, intertwined with rich notes of fruit macerated in liquor. On the palate, it exhibits a dense, chewy texture typical of the style, delivering layers of caramel and vinous brandy character. Despite its high alcohol content, the finish is moderately dry and refined, leaving a lingering impression of dried fruits and elegant wood tannins.

Appearance. Copper-amber with ruby highlights (16-20 SRM); features natural turbidity and a persistent, creamy beige head with moderate lacing. Visible viscosity suggests high alcohol content.

Aroma. High intensity with a very rich malt character featuring burnt sugar, caramel, and toasted bread. Pronounced dark fruit notes of dried fig and fruit-in-liquor are elevated by vinous brandy accents and toasted oak from the cask aging.
