This German Pils offers a zippy, hop-forward experience that echoes the aromatic intensity of a West Coast IPA while maintaining the crisp structural perfection of a classic lager. It pours a brilliant straw yellow with a persistent, creamy white head. The aroma is punchy, leading with high-intensity floral and herbal hop notes over a delicate, doughy malt base reminiscent of toasted crackers. The palate is defined by a clean, dry profile where firm bitterness quickly eclipses the grainy malt, resulting in a flinty, refreshing finish with a lingering hop presence that won't let go.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (SRM 2-3); brilliant clarity; creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity flowery and spicy hops; low grainy-sweet malt character with light honey and toasted cracker notes; clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial bready malt flavor is rapidly overcome by high hop bitterness and herbal hop flavors; very dry, crisp finish; lingering bitterness into the aftertaste with a clean, well-attenuated profile and subtle minerality.
