Sesma Los Huertos is a vibrant Hazy IPA that presents a straw-yellow hue with a veiled clarity and a persistent, ivory-white creamy head. The aromatic profile is defined by a massive tropical surge, where the distinct character of organic kiwi takes center stage alongside the citrus and floral notes provided by a Double Dry Hop of Amarillo. On the palate, the addition of lactose provides a smooth, velvety texture and a subtle sweetness that cushions the delicate, low bitterness. The finish is remarkably fresh and clean, leaving a lingering impression of tart kiwi and soft, green fruit-skin nuances.
Appearance. Straw yellow (3-4 SRM) with a slight, uniform haze. Topped by a dense, creamy, ivory-white head with high retention and decorative lacing.
Aroma. High intensity fruit-forward aroma dominated by fresh kiwi and tropical notes. The Amarillo lúpulo provides supportive layers of orange peel and lemon citrus. Low, neutral bready malt background with a faint, creamy sweetness.
Taste. Initial impression is soft and fruity. High kiwi flavor with a slight tartness, integrated with citrusy hop character. Low malt flavor, primarily crackery or grainy. Very low bitterness that is delicate and non-lingering. Finish is off-dry and creamy with a clean, fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable oiliness and untuosity from the lactose. Moderate carbonation. Very smooth with no alcohol warmth or hop harshness.
