Sesma Blas GSC is a vibrant White IPA that bridges the gap between a Belgian Witbier and a modern American IPA. This refreshing beer is defined by its use of Galaxy, Sorachi Ace, and Citra hops, delivering a complex bouquet of passion fruit, Meyer lemon, and zesty grapefruit. The pale wheat base provides a soft, hazy canvas for the hop oils to shine, accompanied by a light, peppery spice character. It is exceptionally drinkable with a crisp, dry finish, balancing moderate hop bitterness with a subtle, creamy grain texture and a bright, citrus-forward personality.
Appearance.Pale straw (3-5 SRM). Hazy to opaque due to wheat proteins and heavy hopping. Large, billowy white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma.High intensity aromatics. Dominant notes of tropical fruit and sharp citrus from Galaxy and Citra. Distinctive Sorachi Ace contribution provides a lemon-curd and herbal dill undertone. Low bready wheat malt aroma with a hint of coriander-like spice and moderate fruity esters.
Taste.Immediate burst of citrus zest and stone fruit. Sorachi Ace adds a unique herbal, lemon-peel complexity. Malt flavor is light and crackery with a soft wheat twang. Hop bitterness is moderate but smooth, balancing the dry finish. Aftertaste is clean with lingering tropical fruit and a faint peppery spice.
Mouthfeel.Medium-light body with a refreshing, somewhat creamy texture from the wheat. High carbonation provides a crisp, effervescent bite. Minimal alcohol warmth. No astringency.
