Foudre Tropic is a vibrant Saison that marries rustic farmhouse tradition with lush tropicality. Fermented in an oak foudre with house microflora, it delivers a complex aromatic profile where pink guava puree provides a dominant, fruity punch. The inclusion of aged whole-cone hops adds a delicate, earthy layer that complements the spicy, peppery esters typical of the style. A base of grainy malt supports the fermentation character without adding sweetness, leading to a bone-dry and highly attenuated finish. Effervescent and bright, this ale reflects a harmonious balance between the woody depth of the foudre and the aromatic intensity of the fruit.
Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale orange with a soft pinkish hue; features a long-lasting, dense, rocky white head with excellent Belgian lacing.
