This punchy American IPA, a collaboration with the band Golos Omeriki, delivers a vibrant sensory experience centered on the interplay of Simcoe and Mosaic hops. At 7.4% ABV, it sits at the robust end of the style, projecting an intense aromatic profile of resinous pine, tropical mango, and ripe blueberries. A clean, grainy malt foundation allows the hops to dominate, balancing the firm bitterness with subtle hints of toasted bread. The palate is defined by layers of grapefruit and stone fruit, leading to a crisp, dry finish that emphasizes its hop-forward character and moderate strength.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber in color with brilliant clarity. Pours with a dense, off-white head that shows excellent persistence and leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent resinous pine and earthy notes from Simcoe, alongside tropical fruit, citrus, and a distinct berry character from Mosaic. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt supports the hops without competing.
Taste. Bold hop flavors of grapefruit, pine, and tropical fruit lead the palate. Medium-high bitterness is firm but clean, supported by a light bready malt backbone. The finish is medium-dry and crisp with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Carbonation is medium-high, creating a lively feel, while a subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is noticeable but not harsh.
