Seagrove Public’s Yes Hat is a vibrant expression of a German Pils, defined by its refined simplicity and modern hop finishing. A base of clean, grainy malt provides a subtle, crackery foundation for a complex hop profile. While traditional German noble hops offer a classic spicy and herbal backbone, the finishing addition of Hallertau Blanc introduces distinctive sensory notes of white grape, elderflower, and a touch of lemon zest. This lager pours brilliant gold with a persistent white head, delivering a snappy, firm bitterness that cleanses the palate. It is remarkably crisp and crushable, culminating in a bone-dry, refreshing finish.
Appearance. Straw to brilliant gold (3 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate-high hop intensity featuring Hallertau Blanc’s signature white grape and lemongrass, backed by traditional spicy and herbal notes. Low grainy, doughy pilsner malt sweetness. Clean fermentation profile without sulfur or esters.
Taste. Initial grainy malt sweetness is quickly overtaken by a firm hop bitterness. Flavors of toasted crackers and honeyed malt support prominent hop notes of white wine, dried herbs, and pepper. Finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering, clean bitterness and a hint of flinty minerality.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that provides a crisp, scrubbing sensation. No alcohol warmth; very smooth with a clean, snappy texture.
