High-intensity aromas of ripe melon and succulent pineapple leap forward, supported by a clean, neutral malt backbone that allows the hop character to remain the undisputed protagonist. The palate mirrors the nose with a burst of tropical flavors, transitioning into a firm yet integrated bitterness. Despite its 7.5% ABV, the beer maintains high drinkability, characterized by a velvety smooth mouthfeel and a crisp, dry finish that emphasizes modern hop-forward elegance over heavy malt presence or residual sugar.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (8 SRM). Features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with fine lacing. Clarity is clear, though a very faint hop haze is acceptable for the style.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma dominated by New World characteristics. Primary notes of sweet melon and tropical pineapple are prominent. A supportive, clean, grainy maltiness sits quietly in the background, accompanied by a neutral fermentation profile and a very subtle, clean alcohol presence.
Taste. Initial impression is a surge of hop-derived melon and pineapple. Malt flavor is low and unobtrusive, providing a soft, bready foundation. Bitterness is high but refined and lacking harshness, balanced by the fruit-forward hop oils. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering hoppy and bitter aftertaste that remains clean.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a notably velvety, smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is restrained and smooth, without any harsh hop-derived astringency.
