Schwarze Rose

Focus is a vibrant Hazy IPA from Schwarze Rose that highlights the punchy, tropical character of Galaxy hops. A deep, opaque straw-to-orange pour leads into a massive aromatic profile of passion fruit, peach, and sun-ripened pineapple. The secret hop blend supports the Galaxy lead, adding layers of citrus and stone fruit. On the palate, a soft, pillowy mouthfeel carries intense, juicy flavors over a clean, grainy malt base. The bitterness is restrained and exceptionally smooth, ensuring the focus remains on hop saturation rather than bite. It finishes with a lingering tropical character and a clean, fruit-forward aftertaste.

Appearance. SRM 4-6; pale orange-gold. Opaque, hazy appearance with a soft shine. Large, white, meringue-like head with very high retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with dominant notes of passion fruit, pineapple, and citrus zest. Secondary aromas of peach and mango. Background malt is clean, neutral, and lightly bready; fermentation esters are fruity and well-integrated.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring passion fruit and citrus. Low to medium-high perceived bitterness that is smooth and never sharp. Low grainy malt flavor provides a supportive base. Finish is off-dry and juicy with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth texture. Moderate carbonation. Light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present. Entirely free of hop-derived astringency or raw starch texture.
