This revitalized American IPA strikes a nostalgic yet refined balance, leaning into the classic West Coast structure with a modern aromatic profile. The interplay of Mosaic and Vic Secret delivers an intense wave of tropical pineapple and passion fruit, while Ekuanot adds complex layers of citrus lime and subtle herbal spice. A clean, grainy malt base provides just enough support for the firm, crisp bitterness to shine. With its dry finish and bright hop presence, it captures the essence of a traditional India Pale Ale while showcasing the vibrant, fruit-forward character of New World hops. It is a clean, refreshing, and unapologetically hoppy experience.
Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (approx. 7-9 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent tropical notes of mango, passion fruit, and pineapple. Subtle lime zest and a hint of resinous pine accompany a low, clean, grainy malt sweetness. Fermentation is clean with no significant esters.
Taste. Leading with a firm, medium-high hop bitterness, the flavor profile is dominated by tropical fruit and citrus pith. A light bready malt character supports the hops without adding significant sweetness. The finish is dry and crisp, leaving a lingering, clean hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. A very subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at the finish.
