This extreme Eisbock presents as a concentrated essence of dark malt, delivering an intense sensory experience of liquid velvet. The profile is dominated by deep Maillard richness, featuring layers of dark chocolate, burnt sugar, and dried fruits like plums and raisins. Despite its massive potency, the character is profoundly smooth and syrupy, reflecting its freeze-distilled origins. Aromas of toasted crust and dark fruit concentrate lead into a palate of decadent malt sweetness. The finish provides a clean but powerful alcohol-driven dryness that cuts through the viscous texture, leaving a lingering impression of complex malt and spirit-like warmth.
Appearance. Deep mahogany to dark brown with brilliant ruby highlights (SRM 25–30). Head retention is poor, appearing as a thin, ivory ring that quickly dissipates, leaving oily legs on the glass.
