This Belgian Golden Strong Ale showcases the vibrant synergy between traditional fermentation and the Krush hop. Pouring a brilliant pale gold with a towering white head, it releases a potent bouquet of tropical mango, peach, and lychee from the four-stage Krush hopping. These modern notes weave through a classic Belgian profile of pear esters and peppery phenols. Despite its robust 9% ABV, the palate remains remarkably light and effervescent. A crisp, grainy malt backbone supports a firm bitterness that transitions into a bone-dry, clean finish, where lingering notes of stone fruit and soft alcohol warmth remain. It is a complex, dangerously drinkable single-hop showcase.

Appearance. Pale gold (4-5 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a massive, long-lasting, rocky white head that leaves significant lacing as it slowly recedes. Highly effervescent with visible rising bubbles.

Aroma. High intensity aroma led by Krush hops, offering distinct tropical notes of mango, guava, and peach. This is layered over Belgian yeast esters of ripe pear and red apple, with a moderate peppery phenol character. A light, grainy-sweet malt presence is detectable beneath the fruit and spicy alcohol notes.

Taste. Immediate impression of tropical fruit and pome fruit esters. The Krush hops provide a bright citrus and stone fruit flavor that complements the peppery yeast character. Bitterness is moderate to firm, accentuated by a very high level of attenuation. The finish is remarkably dry and clean, with a lingering herbal hop note and soft alcohol presence.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body, feeling much lighter than the gravity suggests. High carbonation provides a prickly, effervescent sensation. Smooth but noticeable alcohol warmth is present without being hot or solventy.
