Our homeland, the UNESCO village of Saltaire and the accompanying mill were built by a superprogressive pioneer of worker’s rights in the 1800s. We are mightily proud of our heritage, We adopt the same progressive spirit through our modern brewing styles. Telling the story of our local history and heritage is core to our journey. The inspiration of our forefathers can be seen in our name, throughout our brewery, and the textiles used to name our beers.

Descripción Alpaca fleece is the fibre harvested from the coat of an alpaca. A soft, luxurious and silky natural fibre, it is similar to sheep’s wool but warmer, naturally water repellent and less prickly. The mill in the centre of our homeland was innovative enough to recognise the value of Alpaca wool in the 1800s. You could say Alpacas built the village in which we are based!

Our Alpaca DDH IPA is every bit as premium and luxurious as the animal fibre. Expect strong tropical hop aromas on the nose. Initial flavours of guava and melon are followed by the appearance of honey from the malt. Crisp and punchy, the tropical fruits are well balanced with a dry, bitter finish.

Hops: Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic.

El vellón de alpaca es la fibra recolectada del pelaje de una alpaca. Una fibra natural suave, lujosa y sedosa, es similar a la lana de oveja pero más cálida, naturalmente repelente al agua y menos espinosa. El molino en el centro de nuestra patria fue lo suficientemente innovador como para reconocer el valor de la lana de alpaca en el siglo XIX. ¡Se podría decir que Alpacas construyó el pueblo en el que estamos basados!

Nuestra Alpaca DDH IPA es tan premium y lujosa como la fibra animal. Espere fuertes aromas a lúpulo tropical en nariz. Los sabores iniciales de guayaba y melón son seguidos por la aparición de miel de malta. Crujientes y con garra, las frutas tropicales están bien equilibradas con un final seco y amargo.

Versata nel bicchiere l'aspetto è torbido ed il colore giallo chiaro. Naso e palato sono caratterizzati da succose note di frutta tropicale, in evidenza guava e melone con sfumature di miele nel finale a donare un profilo "crispy". Secca e piacevolmente amara.
