A vibrant collaboration from Salopian Brewery and Buxton Brewery, this Wild Specialty Beer is a sensory fusion of a fruited sour and an India Pale Ale. The aroma is dominated by high-intensity bursts of fresh lemon zest and the sharp, green tang of gooseberries, supported by a delicate pale malt and wheat foundation. On the palate, a refreshing lactic tartness leads into a citrus-forward profile where the acidity brightens the fruit character. The finish is remarkably clean and dry, showing light wild fermentation nuances without overwhelming funk. It masterfully balances the hop-forward nature of an IPA with the zesty, puckering refreshment of a modern sour.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (SRM 3-5). Persistent haze from the wheat base and fruit additions. Moderate white head with fair retention, though acidity may cause it to dissipate faster than a standard IPA.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, refreshing character. High carbonation provides a lively, prickly sensation on the tongue. Low astringency with no significant alcohol warmth.
