This Double IPA presents a saturated sensory experience, defined by a substantial foundation of Golden Promise malt and flaked oats. The aroma is an intense bouquet of stone fruit, lime, and tropical melon, driven by a heavy dry-hop regimen of Talus, Motueka, and Citra Cryo. On the palate, it delivers a juicy, smooth character with deep layers of grapefruit, dried rose, and bright citrus. Despite the 10% ABV, the alcohol is well-integrated, providing a restrained warmth that supports the hop intensity. The mouthfeel is robust and creamy, transitioning into a lingering, fruit-forward finish that avoids harshness while maintaining a firm, structural bitterness.

Appearance. Gold to light orange (8 SRM) with a slight to moderate haze from the use of oats; features a large, persistent, creamy white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with prominent notes of pink grapefruit, tropical lime, mango, and a distinct floral-herbal rose quality. Background malt is clean and bready with a faint grainy sweetness; fermentation is neutral with a very subtle hint of clean alcohol.

Taste. Initial impression is a fruit-forward explosion of citrus and tropical fruit. Hop flavors of lime zest and stone fruit dominate over a soft, supportive Golden Promise malt base. Bitterness is high but smooth, lacking any harshness or vegetal astringency. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, resinous fruit character and a clean, warming alcohol presence.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, substantial texture derived from oats. Carbonation is moderate. Noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth is present, without being hot or solventy.
