Salikatt Flintegata 3.0 presents as a modern, soft rendition of an American Pale Ale. The sensory profile is defined by a vibrant hop trifecta; Galaxy delivers intense passion fruit, HBC586 adds complex stone fruit and tropical notes, while Citra Cryo contributes bright, concentrated citrus. A pale malt base provides a light, bready foundation, subtly enhanced by a touch of lactose that rounds the edges and provides a plush, creamy texture. This hazy offering balances its expressive fruit character with a gentle bitterness, finishing clean with lingering notes of grapefruit and mango. It is a refreshing, hop-forward experience that highlights technical precision in hop layering.

Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale golden color (SRM 5-6). It is topped by a moderately large, frothy white head that exhibits good retention and leaves delicate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of passion fruit, peach, and mango from Galaxy and HBC586. Citra Cryo adds a sharp lime and grapefruit zest. Behind the fruit, there is a low, clean, grainy maltiness with no significant caramel. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.

Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward, bursting with tropical fruit and citrus flavors. A light, crackery malt base supports the hops. Bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, never becoming harsh. The addition of lactose provides a faint, creamy sweetness that balances the hop acids. The finish is medium-dry with a clean, lingering citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a notably soft, smooth texture due to the lactose and haze-inducing proteins. Carbonation is moderate. There is no perceived alcohol warmth, and the beer is free from astringency.
