Double Dribble is an intense Double IPA designed for maximum sensory impact. Built upon a soft, light-colored malt foundation, this beer serves as a vibrant canvas for Citra and HBC638 hops. The aroma is saturated with high-intensity tropical fruit notes, specifically mango, passionfruit, and sweet melon. On the palate, the Citra provides a bright citrus backbone, while the HBC638 adds complex layers of ripe stone fruit and berry. The mouthfeel is notably smooth, characteristic of the New England style, leading into a clean finish where a refined hop bitterness balances the lush fruit character without lingering harshly.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold (4-6 SRM); opaque with a persistent, thick, white foamy head that leaves intricate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by mango, lychee, and orange zest from the Citra hops, complemented by experimental notes of melon and berries from HBC638. A very low, grainy, sweet malt character supports the fruit without distracting; fermentation is clean with no noticeable diacetyl.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit juice. Strong flavors of pineapple, passionfruit, and grapefruit pith are prominent. The malt provides a soft, doughy, cracker-like background. Bitterness is moderate to firm but remains smooth and lacks any harshness. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, pleasant citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a creamy mouthfeel. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but does not become hot or solventy. No hop-derived astringency.
