Appearance. Deep ruby to garnet red with a soft, pink-tinted foam head. Head retention is moderate to low, typical of high-acidity styles, leaving a fine ring of lacing. A slight haze is present from the intense fruit addition.

Aroma. High intensity, dominated by fresh tart cherries and jammy raspberries. Beneath the fruit lies a complex tapestry of Brettanomyces funk—reminiscent of damp hay and leather—complemented by a sharp, lemony lactic acidity and a whisper of toasted oak.

Taste. Immediate, sharp acidity carries flavors of sour cherry and bright raspberry across the palate. The malt is a supportive backdrop of cracker-like grain. High complexity arises from funk and wood tannins, leading to a bone-dry finish. Hop bitterness is negligible, replaced by a refreshing, cleansing tartness and lingering fruit skin notes.
