Appearance. Opaque jet black (40 SRM) with a thick, persistent deep tan head that leaves oily lacing. High viscosity is visible through prominent legs when the glass is swirled.

Aroma. High intensity; dominated by rich dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and caramelized speculoos biscuits. Subtle notes of cinnamon and brown sugar intermingle with deep-roasted coffee and faint hints of raisin. Hops are negligible, allowing the pastry and roast malt character to lead.
