Overgolded is a lush Hazy IPA that exemplifies the juicy profile of the style. It features a heavy double dry hopping of Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops. Expect intense white grape, passion fruit, and crushed gooseberry notes from the Nelson Sauvin, while Citra provides a foundation of bright grapefruit and tropical mango. The 7.9% ABV provides a subtle warmth that integrates well with the soft, pillowy body derived from flaked grains. The result is a vibrant, fruit-forward experience with a restrained bitterness and a smooth, lingering tropical finish that highlights the premium hop selection.

Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4-6 SRM). Opaque, uniform haze with a luminous shine. Thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and dense lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by tropical and stone fruits: passion fruit, mango, and lychee. Notable white wine and gooseberry character from the hops. Background of sweet, doughy, bready malt with no caramel. Clean, slightly estery fermentation character.

Taste. Massive fruity hop flavors echoing the aroma: citrus zest, peach, and melon. Initial impression is soft and juicy. Malt provides a light, grainy, bready sweetness. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness, well-masked by the body. Finishes off-dry and smooth with a lingering tropical hop aftertaste without harshness.
