This American Amber Ale presents a refined sessionable profile, pouring a brilliant ruby red. The sensory experience is anchored by a deep, malt-forward core, where prominent notes of chewy toffee and toasted biscuit create a smooth, cereal-rich foundation. This malty sweetness is expertly balanced by a dual hop addition of NZ Cascade and Simcoe, which injects vibrant layers of fresh pine resin and bright citrus zest into the aromatics. Despite its session-strength ABV, the beer maintains a surprisingly creamy and substantial presence on the palate, concluding with a gentle, clean bitterness that allows the interplay of New World hops and caramelized malts to linger gracefully.

Appearance. Deep copper to ruby red (14–17 SRM) with a moderately large, off-white, creamy head showing excellent retention and fine lacing. Generally clear with brilliant garnet highlights.

Aroma. Moderate intensity with a malt-forward character of caramel, toffee, and biscuit. This is layered with moderate hop notes of grapefruit pith and forest pine from NZ Cascade and Simcoe. Low fruity esters are present, but the fermentation profile is primarily clean.

Taste. Initial malty sweetness yields flavors of chewy toffee and toasted biscuit. The mid-palate features moderate hop flavors of citrus peel and resinous pine. Bitterness is moderate-low, providing just enough structure to balance the malt. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering toasted grain and soft citrus character.

Mouthfeel. Medium to medium-full body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. No alcohol warmth is detected, and the finish is clean without any grain or hop astringency.
