Evoking a tropical escape, this Hazy IPA pours a luscious, opaque golden-yellow. The sensory journey is dominated by a vibrant Piña Colada character, driven by a heavy dosing of real pineapple puree and toasted desiccated coconut. The hop profile shines through, with Sabro lending deep coconut and cream notes, Bru-1 adding sharp, fresh-cut pineapple brightness, and El Dorado contributing sweet tropical fruit and pear backdrops. Lactose provides a velvety, creamy sweetness that balances the soft, low-bitterness finish. It delivers a rich, dessert-like getaway, seamlessly marrying hops and real fruit.
Appearance. Pours a deep, opaque golden-straw with a luminous, hazy shine. Features a thick, meringue-like, persistent white head that leaves dense, sticky lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by prominent aromas of sweet shredded coconut and juicy, fresh-cut pineapple. Underlying hop notes of mango, pear, and soft citrus support the fruit additions. A light, sweet creaminess from lactose is present, resting on a neutral, doughy malt background with clean fermentation.
Taste. Initial impression is highly fruit-forward and sweet, mimicking a tropical cocktail. Vibrant pineapple puree and rich coconut flavors lead, followed by tropical hop flavors of yellow peach and melon. Malt flavor is low and bready, serving to carry the sweet, milky lactose.
