This seasonal American Stout balances aggressive dark roasted malts with a festive spice profile. At 6.2% ABV, it pours opaque and offers a complex bouquet of roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate, lifted by aromatic root ginger, pungent cloves, and warm cinnamon. The foundation of traditional British malt provides a deep, bready complexity, while the addition of oats and wheat creates a velvety texture and a distinctive biscuit character. Moderate bitterness ensures the dark grain profile remains sharp, yet it is tempered by the natural sweetness of the spicing, leading to a rich, lingering finish of spice and roasted grain.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (35–40 SRM) with a large, persistent light tan head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity of roasted coffee and dark chocolate. The roasted core is layered with clear, spicy notes of fresh ginger, clove, and cinnamon. Low earthy hop notes and a subtle bready, biscuity malt character from the British malt base are evident.

Taste. Initial impressions of bittersweet chocolate and espresso-like roast. These are quickly joined by a warming spice blend where ginger provides a subtle heat, balanced by the sweetness of cinnamon and clove. The mid-palate reveals a toasted biscuit flavor from the oats and wheat. Medium-high bitterness is present but well-integrated, leading to a long, spicy, and balanced-sweet finish.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied with a smooth, creamy texture derived from the oats and wheat. Medium-high carbonation provides a slight prickle that complements the ginger. Alcohol warmth is light, smooth, and well-integrated.
