Round Corner Brewing

This crisp West Coast-style American IPA showcases a vibrant hop profile built on a clean, sessionable frame. Centennial and Cascade provide a classic foundation of bright citrus and fresh pine, while Strata introduces a distinctively bold, dank complexity. The addition of Cryo Simcoe and Cryo Cascade intensifies the resinous depth and delivers a firm, refreshing bitterness characteristic of the style. Despite its modest alcohol content, it maintains a hop-forward intensity with a dry, snappy finish that emphasizes resin and pith over malt sweetness. It is an endlessly drinkable expression of modern hop technology and traditional West Coast balancing.

Appearance. Medium gold (7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, white, frothy head exhibiting good persistence and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit and lemon zest from Centennial and Cascade, complemented by resinous pine and a dank, herbal quality from Strata. Very low, clean, grainy maltiness; fermentation is very clean with no significant esters.

Taste. Decidedly hop-forward with flavors of citrus peel, pine resin, and a lingering dankness. A low, grainy malt presence supports the high bitterness without adding sweetness. The balance is firmly tilted toward hops, leading to a dry, crisp finish with a persistent aftertaste of grapefruit pith and evergreen.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, enhancing the refreshing quality; no perceived alcohol warmth or astringency.
