Round Corner Brewing

Hopping Spree is a vibrant West Coast IPA that captures the boisterous spirit of its inspiration with a bold, hop-forward profile. Poured with a bright clarity and a light reddish-amber hue, it immediately releases intense aromas of resinous pine and zesty grapefruit. The palate is dominated by a firm, clean bitterness that highlights classic American hop characters of citrus rind and forest floor. A supportive yet lean backbone of pale and slightly toasty malts provides the necessary structure without crowding the hops. Finishing crisp and dry, this ale offers a refreshing intensity and a lingering, resinous aftertaste that quickens the spirit.

Appearance. Pours a clear, medium gold to light reddish-amber with a dense, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-driven bouquet featuring resinous pine, grapefruit zest, and subtle tropical notes. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt presence with a neutral fermentation profile and no significant esters.

Taste. Prominent hop flavors of citrus peel and resin follow the aroma. Initial medium-low toasty malt sweetness is quickly overtaken by a firm, high bitterness. The finish is medium-dry and clean, with a lingering hoppy aftertaste and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp bite. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but remains smooth.
