Growing Up Absurd is a potent Double IPA that exemplifies the impact of American hops against a sophisticated grain bill. The sensory experience begins with an intense aromatic profile of grapefruit zest, resinous pine, and tropical mango. The heavy use of multi-oat and wheat additions provides a soft, pillowy foundation that tempers the assertive hop oils without introducing cloying sweetness. On the palate, the hop-derived citrus and pine notes are front and center, supported by a subtle, bready malt character. It concludes with a firm bitterness and a clean, dry finish, effectively masking the 8% ABV behind a smooth, velvety texture.

Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper in color with a slight, protein-induced haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, creamy white head with excellent lacing.
