This Double IPA showcases a sophisticated marriage of Motueka and Nelson hops against a plush grain bill. The aroma is an explosion of freshly zested lime and crushed white wine grapes, leading into a palate rich with passion fruit and gooseberry. A substantial addition of multi-oat and spelt provides a silky, luxurious texture that carries the high hop intensity without harshness. While the 8% ABV offers a gentle warmth, the focus remains on the vibrant, tropical-fruit-forward profile. It concludes with a balanced, clean finish, epitomizing the modern, soft-textured approach to the style.

Appearance. Color is pale gold to light orange (6-8 SRM). Opaque clarity with a thick, persistent white head and dense lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent Motueka lime and lemon zest paired with the distinctive white grape, gooseberry, and light dank notes of Nelson hops. A subtle grainy, bready malt sweetness from the spelt and oats remains in the background.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical lime and passion fruit. The mid-palate reveals complex vinous Sauvignon Blanc character.
