This modern American IPA celebrates thirty years of brewing with a vibrant, hop-forward profile. The sensory experience is lead by a complex hop bill featuring Citra and Comet, which impart sharp grapefruit and zesty citrus notes. A significant dry-hop addition of Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin elevates the character with layers of ripe passion fruit, blueberry, and the signature crushed white grape aroma. A lean, neutral malt backbone allows these expressive New World varieties to remain the focus, while a clean fermentation ensures a crisp delivery. The result is a balanced, highly aromatic ale with a dry, refreshing finish that showcases technical refinement and hop intensity.
Appearance. Medium gold (7 SRM) with a slight, modern haze due to being lightly filtered. Features a medium-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by tropical fruit (passion fruit, mango) and citrus (grapefruit). Distinctive notes of gooseberry and white wine from the Nelson Sauvin are prominent, supported by a low, clean, grainy malt character.
Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of citrus and berry. High hop flavor mirrors the aroma, showcasing Mosaic-driven tropical notes and grapefruit zest. Bitterness is firm and clean, balanced by a low bready malt sweetness. Finishes dry with a lingering, pleasant hoppy aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively and refreshing mouthfeel. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated.
