Rohozec Podskalák is a quintessential Czech Premium Pale Lager that captures the refreshing essence of Bohemian brewing. Despite its sessionable 4.2% ABV, it delivers a complex sensory profile defined by rich, bready Czech malt and the signature spicy, herbal character of Saaz hops. The appearance is a brilliant deep gold with a dense, creamy white head. On the palate, a soft, rounded bitterness balances the bready maltiness, leading to a clean, thirst-quenching finish. Crafted for replenishment after labor, its soft water profile and moderate carbonation ensure a smooth, approachable mouthfeel that remains balanced and flavorful throughout.
Appearance. Deep gold (5 SRM), brilliant clarity with a dense, long-lasting creamy white head that leaves consistent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to medium-high intensity featuring a bready-rich malt character. A distinct spicy and herbal hop bouquet from Saaz hops is prominent. Very low diacetyl is present, adding to the complexity without being intrusive.
