This West Coast IPA celebrates hop intensity and nuanced wood aging. A complex grain bill featuring Pale Malt, Weyermann Isaria 1924 Malt, and Munich Malt provides a sturdy toasted backbone, while Chit Malt and Maltodextrin ensure a resilient body. The hop profile is vibrant and modern, utilizing Ekuanot, Cryopop, Luminosa, NZH102, and Godiva to deliver a multi-layered explosion of citrus, tropical fruit, and stone fruit. French oak staves impart subtle vanilla undertones and a light tannic structure, rounding out the assertive bitterness. It finishes clean and dry, embodying a contemporary take on the classic American IPA.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (approx 8–10 SRM). Clear with a moderate, persistent off-white head that leaves consistent lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop presence featuring a blend of tropical fruit, citrus zest, and berry notes. Low clean, grainy-sweet maltiness from the specialty grains supports the hops. Subtle vanilla and a faint spicy wood character from the French oak are present in the background. Clean fermentation profile.

Taste. High hop flavor follows the aroma with layers of mango, lime, and stone fruit. A clean, toasted malt foundation provides balance without being sweet. Firm bitterness provides a classic West Coast snap. The finish is dry and lingering with a touch of oak-derived spice and vanilla.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Moderate to high carbonation. A hint of alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated. Very light tannic astringency from the oak adds structure.
