A base of premium Weyermann Eraclea and Weyermann Isaria 1924 malts provides a nuanced foundation of toasted cracker and light honey sweetness. The addition of organic Motueka hops transforms the profile, introducing a punchy, lime-forward aromatic intensity that leans toward modern IPA territory while maintaining lager precision. Brilliantly crisp and refreshing, it balances a firm, palate-cleansing bitterness with a clean, dry finish. It is a "crispy" showcase of artisanal malt depth and tropical-citrus hop character that bridges the gap between traditional European structure and southern hemisphere vibrance.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (SRM 2-4). Brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aromatics featuring lime zest, floral, and fresh herbal notes. Low to medium grainy, doughy malt character with hints of toasted cracker and light honey. Clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial doughy and cracker-like malt flavor is quickly overcome by a high hop bitterness and flavors of lime peel and citrus. The balance is hop-forward and dry. The finish is crisp and clean with a lingering bitterness and a touch of minerality.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing with a light flinty sharpness; no harshness or significant alcohol warmth.
