This International Pale Lager, inspired by the Mexican Lager tradition, offers a punchy yet refined sensory profile that belies its 6.19% ABV. The experience is defined by its extreme drinkability and clean fermentation, presenting a bright bouquet of grainy-malty sweetness and a subtle, characteristic hint of corn. Delicate herbal hop notes provide a light aromatic lift without overshadowing the malt. On the palate, it is crisp and highly attenuated, balancing a bready-crackery core with a restrained bitterness. It finishes remarkably dry and smooth, delivering a refreshing, thirst-quenching character that remains light-footed despite its punchy strength.
Appearance. Pale straw to gold (3-5 SRM). Brilliant clarity. White, frothy head with moderate retention and light lacing.
Aroma. Low to medium-low intensity with a clean fermentation profile. Dominant grainy-malty and slightly corny-sweet malt aroma. Very low herbal and spicy hop character.
Taste. Initial impression is crisp and dry. Low to moderate levels of grainy-malt flavor with a light bready-crackery quality and optional corny sweetness. Bitterness is medium-low, providing a clean balance. The finish is well-attenuated and dry with a neutral aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, slick texture. High carbonation providing a refreshing carbonic bite. Alcohol warmth is very well-integrated and subtle for the ABV.
