This Double IPA is a vibrant sensory tribute to New Zealand, specifically showcasing specially selected mid harvest Nelson Sauvin hops chosen for their peak fruitiness and freshness. It pours with a brilliant golden-orange hue, releasing an intense bouquet of crushed green grapes, gooseberry, and tropical passion fruit. The overall character is defined by these specific New World hop cues, balanced against a clean, neutral malt profile that permits the hops to lead. On the palate, a firm but smooth bitterness complements the lush fruit notes, leading to a dry, crisp finish. At 8% ABV, it offers a well-integrated warmth that enhances its bold, idiosyncratic Kiwi character.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (7-9 SRM) with good clarity; features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with consistent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by white wine grapes, gooseberry, and passion fruit. A supportive, clean, grainy maltiness resides in the background. Fermentation is neutral with a very light, smooth alcohol note.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of tropical fruit and elderflower. Moderately high bitterness that remains smooth and non-harsh. Low, clean, supportive malt character with a hint of breadiness. Finishes dry to medium-dry with a lingering fruity, hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Carbonation is medium-high. Displays a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth that is well-integrated.
