This refurbished Double IPA presents a vibrant evolution of the style, emphasizing a modern hop profile with high intensity. Pouring a clear gold with a persistent white head, it leads with an aromatic punch of tropical fruit, resinous pine, and citrus zest. The palate follows with a wave of complex hop flavors, supported by a lean, neutral malt backbone that ensures the finish remains crisp and dry. At 7.5% ABV, it strikes a balance between potent hop saturation and high drinkability, delivering a firm, clean bitterness that lingers pleasantly without becoming harsh or cloying.
Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper (SRM 7-9). Brilliant clarity with a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring layers of grapefruit, mango, and a sharp resinous pine. Very low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral background. No significant yeast esters; a subtle, clean alcohol note is present.
