Hyperdrive is a high-intensity American IPA that utilizes a Double Dryhopped and Double Oatcream foundation to deliver a complex sensory experience. The profile is defined by a massive explosion of juicy tropical fruit and citrus hop aromas, creating a vibrant hop storm. The inclusion of oats results in a hypersmooth, creamy texture that beautifully balances the assertive bitterness. Appearance. Deep gold to light amber in color (SRM 8-10). Due to the intensive double dry-hopping and oat additions, the beer exhibits a notable haze rather than being brilliant. It is topped by a thick, creamy white head with excellent persistence and significant lacing.

Aroma. The aroma intensity is very high, characterized by a prominent burst of tropical fruits, citrus, and a hint of resinous pine. A low, clean, grainy malt sweetness is present in the background, supporting the massive hop presentation without interference. The fermentation profile is clean and free of significant esters.

Taste. The initial impression is a saturated hop flavor featuring notes of mango, pineapple, and orange zest. A medium-low grainy maltiness is present, though it is enhanced by a creamy oat character. Bitterness is firm and medium-high, leading to a medium-dry finish that leaves a long, hoppy aftertaste of citrus and soft resin.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a distinctively smooth, creamy, and lush texture from the oat cream addition. Carbonation is moderate. A light, smooth alcohol warmth is noticeable but well-integrated, with no harshness or astringency despite the heavy hop load.
