This potent Double IPA showcases a cutting-edge hop profile featuring Eggers Special, HBC 1019, Galaxy Spectrum, and Riwaka Hop Kief. The aroma is an explosion of tropical intensity, offering overripe passionfruit, zesty grapefruit, and a distinct touch of honeydew melon. On the palate, a clean, neutral malt base provides a soft foundation for layers of white grape and citrus zest to shine. Despite its strength, the beer maintains high drinkability with a dry, resinous finish and a firm but smooth bitterness. It is a masterful collaboration that balances modern hop saturation with the classic, punchy structure of a powerful American ale.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (7-9 SRM). Features a persistent, rocky off-white head with excellent lacing and a modern, slight haze that is acceptable for the style.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with prominent notes of passionfruit, grapefruit, and pineapple. Secondary notes of melon, stone fruit, and a hint of diesel/resin. Malt is very low and neutral, supporting a clean fermentation profile with a faint, smooth alcohol presence.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-saturated and bright. Strong flavors of citrus peel, tropical fruit, and white wine grapes follow. Bitterness is firm and moderately high but lacks harshness. Malt character is low and crackery, allowing the dry, resinous, and lingering hoppy finish to dominate the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture from heavy hopping. Moderate carbonation provides a crisp edge, while a gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without being solventy or hot.
