This Double IPA delivers an intense sensory experience driven by a complex hop profile featuring Citra, El Dorado, and Eclipse. The aroma opens with a bright burst of sweet mandarin and fresh pine from the Eclipse, followed by deep tropical notes of mango and lime from the Citra. El Dorado adds a unique candy-like complexity, reminiscent of watermelon and stone fruit. A lean, neutral malt base allows these vibrant hop characters to take center stage. On the palate, a firm but smooth bitterness balances a subtle alcohol warmth, leading to a crisp, dry finish that emphasizes the resinous and citrus-heavy aftertaste.

Appearance. Deep gold with a slight, modern haze. It supports a moderate-sized, persistent white head with fine lacing. SRM: 7-9.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by grapefruit, lime, and tropical mango. Distinctive notes of mandarin orange and pear are supported by a faint, clean, grainy malt background and a hint of smooth alcohol. Fermentation is clean with low fruity esters.

Taste. Powerful initial hop flavors of citrus zest and tropical fruit lead into a mid-palate of stone fruit and resin. Moderately high bitterness is firm but clean and well-integrated into the dry finish. Low, supportive grainy malt character provides a soft backbone, while the aftertaste lingers with citrus peel and pine.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Moderate carbonation provides a lively feel on the tongue, accompanied by a restrained, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any harshness.
