Accelerate Action is a vibrant American Pale Ale that showcases a sophisticated hop profile through an intensive double dry-hopped approach. The aromatic intensity is driven by a complex layering of the Pink Boots Blend and Krush, delivering a burst of citrus and stone fruit. Strata adds distinctive layers of tropical passionfruit and a hint of herbal berry, while the use of Cryo Pop and Krush Cryo intensifies the juicy, saturated hop character. Beneath the heavy dry-hopping, a clean, neutral malt base provides a lean platform, allowing the vivid, modern hop flavors to remain at the forefront. It finishes crisp with a firm, integrated bitterness.
Appearance. Pale golden (5 SRM) with a moderately large, frothy white head that shows excellent retention and fine lacing. Despite the style's typical clarity, the heavy dry-hopping imparts a slight, modern haze.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring tropical notes of passionfruit and mango. The hop blend contributes layers of pink grapefruit, apricot, and subtle floral tones. Low grainy-sweet malt provides a neutral background with very low fermentation esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a wash of juicy tropical and stone fruit. The hop flavor mirrors the aroma with pronounced peach, berry, and citrus zest. Malt character is low and bready, serving only to support the hop saturation. Bitterness is moderate-high but smooth, leading to a dry, clean finish where lingering notes of grapefruit and resin persist without harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing a gentle prickle that enhances the hop aromatics. No astringency or alcohol warmth is detected at this strength.
