Appearance. Straw yellow (approximately 3-4 SRM). The foam is white, compact, and persistent with excellent Belgian lace. Clarity is slightly hazy due to the high wheat content and mandarin juice.
Aroma. High intensity of fresh Sicilian Mandarin zest and juice, harmonizing with moderate spicy phenols like black pepper. Fruity esters of citrus and pome fruit are prominent. A light, rustic, grainy malt character from the Monococco wheat is present, while hop character is low and earthy.
Taste. Initial impression is bright and citrus-forward with mandarin orange and lemon notes. The malt flavor is low but grainy, provided by the Pilsner and Monococco base.
