This reddish-copper ale leads with a refreshing aroma of toasted grain and soft toffee, brightened significantly by zesty orange and lemon notes. The palate follows suit, offering a delicate balance of biscuity malt and caramel sweetness that is quickly cut by a crisp, citrus-driven acidity. A hallmark dry finish emerges through light roasted grain bitterness, leaving a clean and slightly tangy aftertaste. At 4.5% ABV, it provides a light-bodied, highly approachable sensory experience where citrus brightness meets classic Celtic malt complexity.
Appearance. Medium reddish-copper with brilliant clarity; produces a low, tan-colored head with average persistence.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring a clean malt profile of toasted bread, light toffee, and a grainy sweetness, complemented by a prominent citrus zest and low earthy hop notes.
Taste. Initial soft caramel and biscuity malt flavors are quickly balanced by a moderate citrus tang. Features a medium-low bitterness with a light roasted grain character that provides a characteristic dryness in the finish. The aftertaste is clean with a lingering hint of citrus peel.
